PotatoEurope 2010 - Key Information for Visitors

The Top Event for the international potato industry, the outdoor exhibition PotatoEurope, is being held at the Bockerode Estate in Springe-Mittelrode near Hanover on 8 and 9 September 2010. Some helpful information for visitors is set out below:

Exhibition dates:
Wednesday, 8 September 2010, and Thursday, 9 September 2010

Opening times:
Daily from 9.00 h to 18.00 h

Organisers:
DLG e.V. (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft - German Agricultural Society) in close cooperation with the German Potato Industry Association  (Union der Deutschen Kartoffelwirtschaft  - UNIKA) and the firm K+S Kali GmbH

Ticket prices:

Day ticket: EUR 19.-
Students, pensioners: EUR 10.-

Children under the age of 8 accompanied by adults: free

The event catalogue will be issued to visitors free of charge at the gates.

Travel by road:
The approach roads to the PotatoEurope venue in Springe-Mittelrode are signposted well in advance from all directions. Sufficient free parking space is available for cars and coaches/buses at the PotatoEurope 2010 site.

Travel by rail:
The S-Bahn (suburban metro railway) Route 5 runs every half hour from Hanover Central Station to the Völksen/Eldagsen Station (in the direction of Hameln, travel time approx. 30 minutes). From there visitors can take a taxi to the PotatoEurope 2010 venue (approx. 4 km).
